This is me playing two hands on the same melody of my composition. I think this one is much easier because we don't need to confuse about the left hand.

Today we learnt more about music notations. The teacher taught us about upbeats and ties notes and the different times of signatures.We also discussed the next quiz that will be held on monday 7th of september about 7th chord. In instrument classes, I was demanded to choose one classical music so then I choose Gymnopedie by Erik Satie. The teacher slowly taught me how to play the song and soon I'm able to do it and I need to practice daily in order to memorise it.

Today is my group turns to present about pop rock music. We give some examples of the music and some information about the pop rock music. My group mates, Ananda were absent today so I only do it with verena.

Today the other group present their presentation about the different of musical genres. The groups that present today was the group that did classical music and pop rock music. I learn that piano weren't invented in baroque era, it is invented on the classical era.

Today we sung the bagimu negri song individually in front of the class. I make a big improvement this time and gain more confident in the style I sang. After everyone finish their singing, we did some theory and finally we move onto instrument class. The singing took a long time so we only have a little time for instrument. For next session I need to improve on western music

Today was the second week of grade 10 and the first music class. We are asked to sing Bagimu negri. After that I review note on C,G,A,D,E and we do the same thing during the instrument class and I can do it in just 30 minutes of practicing.

Today the teacher teach us how to make blog spot to the new student. The teacher also show several videos from music class last year. After that the teacher give project about musical genres. We were informed that the presentation will be on Monday. In the Instrument Class I do a broken chord including C,D,G and A scales.

Today I sang together with the rest of the students that haven't sung yet. we make the C, G, D, A, E scales for Major, Triad and 7th chord. The teacher explains about this and we should make by our own. Then for the instrument class, we did the scales for E, G, C and D.

Today is the last day of the music sessions. There is no lesson on Friday because the teacher give us a study day for the exam. I practice my composition and I'm pretty sure that I will do well in the exam. I think I can achieve a high mark because the songs is easier the more we practice on it. Again there is no instrument class for today because we need to complete our composition.

Today the class were divided based on the groups. We can be more concentrate and focus when we are in our own room. The teacher taught us to divide the part in our song so there will be played one by one with different instrument. This time, the teacher help us to make the song sound good and it totally works. I enjoyed playing my arrangement and I practice everyday because I'm so in love with my new arrangement.

We do the same things for today and tomorrow. We practice the composition in front of the class and the teacher as usual gives input for a better one. However the tempo were not really accurate so I need to collaborate more with my teammates. I forgot some of the notes while playing in front of the class so I think that Practice should be done in any prices.

Today we submit our draft that we make for our composition. Some of my classmates have submitted their draft but there are several changes later on. Every team perform in front of the class to show what we got so far. I need to practice more and more for the hard song because I'm not that ready to play it. Again there is no instrument class for today because we spend all time in the composition practice.

Today we have to make the draft for our composition. Draft is where we need to make before putting it into Finale. We need to play the composition in group to show it in front of the class. After we completed our assessment, the teacher comment on each of us and they give input on what next to be done such as become more confident and trust yourself that you can do it. I think that's it for today by the way there are no instrument class for this day.

Today we are ask to make 16 bars for the composition. I make it until 24 for today including the chord. I need to think further for the right chord. Today there is no instrument class because we spent the whole time practicing our own composition in class.

Today our teacher, Mr John is sick and replaced by Mr Herry. We are divided into four musical groups and we start making on our song. I make 8 bars on the first day and complete all the chord progressions. I need to make it more so I could complete it.

Today we had a singing assessment. My group were Hashfi and Verena. I don't feel nervous while doing the assessment because I know that I could do my best if  I'm confident. I don't have the instrument class for today because we are lack of time.

Today we practice to make our won composition. Beside the song melody, we need to make a chord progression for each of the melody so the song will sound alive. After that we sing again because 5 more days is our signing exam. I need to memorize the lyrics that will be in the song. including the rap part.

Today the teacher taught us about chord progression. The teacher also demand us to make our own composition. I can freely create my own notes whatever style I like. There are several rules on making a composition to make the song steady and still in position. After that the class practice for the singing assessment that will be held next week. I need to see the lyrics for the rap song in the song.

Today is the first day of term 4. The teacher announce that there will be an assessment next week. I'm not that stress because we only need to sing a western pop song which I think I'm able to overcome it. I know the songs but I still need to remember the rap part of the song because it's quite hard.

Today is the assessment day because most of the student didn't come to the lobby yesterday. I'm quite nervous while playing the two songs because there are many students from other class watching my performance. The assessment went well and I don't think I made a mistake while playing it. I'm sure my score wouldn't be that bad on that one.

Today will be the last day to practice both of the songs. The assessment will be held the next day after school finished. I think i"m ready for the upcoming exams because I have prepared well in the two songs. I still need to practice in order to relieve my nervous and to make myself become more confident to the audience. For today, I did the same things as what I did yesterday.

Today, the whole class play Salute D'amor again. I improve a lot for today. After we're done to practice, the teacher gave us another sheet called minute by boccherini. I practice minute directly after it was given.

For today, there are no instrument class. We only practice to play Salute D'Amor for the whole sessions. All of the class with 5 different instrument play the song. It sounds really good when the whole class perform. I did many mistakes on my first try but I can overcome it directly.

Today there is an assessment about minor scales. We are making minor scales and several scales. There is also some words terminology in which we used to describe the meaning from the Italian words. It was pretty hard but I'm pretty sure that I will pass the test.

Today we learn more about melodic and harmonic scale. I'm not so familiar with this because I never learn this in minor scales. The teacher teach us about this and I make much progress in this topic. I just need to rise the 7th note in the intervals. I think that I'm prepared for the assessment about the theories of minor scales. I just need to learn more about the vocabulary in the sheet that was distributed in the last meeting

For the first session we are discussing about the trip overseas held by art department. Students from drama, music and art can join the trip. After that, the teacher gave us a vocabulary words that used in the romantic era. After that I continue my slide presentation about romantic music.

For today we are discussing more on minor scales. Last time we've learnt major scales but we haven't learn much about minor scale so its not really familiar to me. There are several differences in the intervals in every note in the scale. I study the flat sign and the sharp sign in the minor scales.For today, there is no instrument class because we learn the theory for too long.

The assessment is quite similar like the last group presentation held on term 1. But this time, we discuss about the changes that happens when classical music era has ended together with the rise of the romantic era. We need to list all composers, instrument and musical style. This assessments is not that complicated because we have learn about this in semester 1

23rd of January is the Chinese new year holiday. Today is the assessment day. Luckily I'm the 2nd person to sing so I don't really feel nervous. But I forget the lyrics on the last part of the song because I'm not that familiar with this song. But I'm happy because the teacher say that my singing skill is good yet he's giving a good score for my singing assessment. I'm pretty satisfied with that but still I need to be more confident for the next singing assessment.

Today the teacher announce all of us that we're going to have another singing assessment. But this time it must be an Indonesian patriotic song. The title is 'Indonesia Pusaka'. I really doesn't know the song so I need to memorise the lyrics in order to get a good score.

Today I learn about Major 7 chords and Dominant 7 chords. I don't really know the difference and similarities from both of them so I don't understand well on this topic. At last my teacher help me on making the note and now I'm able to do it alone.

Today our teacher gave us the MDW. I complete the MDW that day. Then I must move on to finish my compostion for A. I only done for 12 bars this time so I must be quick. Some of my classmate have done with the composition and they perform in class. At last, I complete A and B for today. Next time I must work faster in creating rondo composition.
